Frequently Asked ?uestions

Who is Skyskipping?

We are a team of travel enthusiast and flight experts who hunt for flight bargains. Our service saves you the hassle of searching for travel deals from Atlanta which save you huge amounts of money and time.

How did Skyskipping come about?

Our founder, Mitch Robertson, worked in a ski town with busy and slow seasons. During the slower seasons, spring & fall, he traveled around the world at bargain prices. On a trip he organized for his family to St. Lucia ($235/person round-trip flight) he decided that others should also experience the pleasures of low cost travel. Mitch turned what was a hobby of finding flight deals into a business, so others could also experience the pleasure of travel on the cheap.

Where do you get your deals from?

We search for the best offers from countless airlines and online travel flight providers. **We always assess each offer independently to ensure that they are not only the right price, but also meet our quality and our expectations. We only recommend trips that we would be happy to book ourselves.**

Does Skyskipping receive any commissions?

Nope, Skyskipping is commission and spam free. (unlike those other "deal" sites) We only forward links that give us the most useful information, cheapest flight prices, and that we are happily using ourselves.

How many alerts should I be expecting?

It all depends on how many deals there are out of Atlanta and which Skyskipping membership you are signed up for. The Economy Membership will only receive 1/3rd of the deals. First Class Members will not only receive every deal, but will be alerted in priority of the Economy Members.

Why am I not receiving emails after I signed up?

Sometimes our emails will end up in the spam folder of your email provider. For Gmail, our alerts may be in the Promotions tab. Here are some instructions on how to whitelist our emails:

If you can't find our emailed deals then please email and we will be happy to assist you with the issue.

Are all your offers legit?

Our deals are all bookable at the time of publication. With our expertise in finding cheap flights we also try and give an estimated guess on when the airlines deals will expire. Most offers often have limited availability and you should always act quickly to make sure you don't miss out on a cheap flight.

Why has the price for the flight suddenly gone up?

Prices given by airlines adjust depending on supply and demand. Simply put, if flights are empty then airlines will respond with special offers and if the demand returns then prices will adjust upwards accordingly. Airlines can and will adjust their prices multiple times a day.

Why is there such a difference in the cost of travel at different times of the year?

Prices vary throughout the year depending on supply and demand. For example, in the US, it is almost impossible to find a deal during extreme popular times like Thanksgiving and Christmas. If you book outside peak periods, you can find good deals at almost all destinations.

Error fares & pricing mistakes: what are they and is my booking safe?

"Error fares" are pricing mistakes in the airlines' booking systems or reservation platforms. However, they are mostly only bookable for a very short time. There is always a possibility that bookings will be cancelled; however, this was only ever rarely an issue in the past. Your booking is generally safe once your e-ticket has been issued. You should therefore wait at least until then before making further reservations.

What is my Baggage Allowance?

Baggage allowances vary between different airlines. A lot of our domestic flight deals come from "bargain airlines" and have strict guidelines when it comes to the size and weight of the luggage. If you want to know what you can take in your hand luggage, and what you need to bear in mind if you are traveling with hand baggage only, you can find out more at: Airline Baggage Fees

Can I change or cancel a flight reservation?

Change or cancellation terms can vary depending on the airline or the fare class. Generally, it's not possible to change a ticket without paying a fee.

Does the subscription renew automatically?

Yes, your membership automatically renews depending on which plan you subscribed to. You can cancel at anytime.

What is your refund policy?

You can ask for a refund within 5 days of purchase date. If 5 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Why am I receiving flight deals from Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, or other cities?

This is another service we provide for First Class Members. Atlanta has great deals in plenty, but we at Skyskipping also find fantastic deals from these cities. Orlando and Fort Lauderdale airports are major hubs that are very cheap to fly to, close in proxy, and provide additional bargain flights. For example, sometimes we find flights departing from Orlando that would be $600 less than a flight from ATL. To some members it is worth getting a $150 two hour flight ticket to Orlando.
